4th of July

We had a fun 4th of July this year, my parents came into town for a visit and our friends came over for dinner and fireworks. Even though I had to go to work the next day, it was nice to have a day off to hang out and play.

Before everyone came over we went to Panera for lunch (love that place) and Lowes and Target for some outdoor essentials. Sawyer was so excited to get a watering can, it's the little things ;)

 

 

I was craving cake, so I made a red, white, and blue one :)

 

We got the bubble machine going and Sawyer and Lucy had the best time playing and riding bikes

 

 After dinner and more playing, it was dark enough for fireworks! Sawyer was a little nervous at first, but eventually thought they were "so cool!"
