Arrr!

I have a lot more photos of Sawyer's first real Trick or Treating experience, but they need some editing and I am too tired to do all that. I at least wanted to post one picture of my sweet pirate!

Random October

I admit, it is not like we do anything all that exciting around here, especially lately, but I take a lot of pictures and want to share them! I love this kid more than words can even say, he is so funny, his vocabulary is expanding more and more each day, he loves to sing and count, and play with his dogs and cats. He has it pretty good, and so do his parents :)

He was in such a goofy mood this day, and loving running on the couch and jumping on Dad.
(p.s. how cool is his Pink Floyd shirt?)

Being a messy peanut butter toast eater

I made a really good chili one day

We stopped for cupcakes one afternoon, Sawyer devoured his Peanut Butter and Jelly cupcake

Bowl as a hat, totally normal

I might be a mean mom, but I typically don't like to buy him things with a bunch of characters on them, like clothes or blankets, but I saw this "CARS" blanket and thought he would love it. Not surprisingly, he does. He wanted to sit on the couch and eat pancakes in a bowl, drink a juice box, and be cozy with his blanket. How could I say no?

Then we lined up cars, and threw in a rubber duck :)

He was getting antsy over the weekend so we decided to get out of the house and go to the park before we hit up the grocery store. Just as we got in the car to leave it started to rain, perfect timing!

Before The Weather Turned

Two weekends ago we had what I believe was our last "nice" day before the rainy season started. It was sunny, warm, and lovely.  I have been loving the fall weather though, just makes being home more cozy if that makes sense.

Anyway, on that day Sawyer went with me to pick up lunch, he insisted on bringing this bucket full of toys and juice.

After lunch he had a meltdown, I think that it was due to me not letting him bring a bunch of cars to the park (he always wants to bring 2-3 and he shuffles them between hands and drops them and its just too much to handle while trying to climb play structures and going down the slide). Mean mommy alert! He calmed down, but when we got to the park he mostly wanted to go down by the water and watch the boats and play with his car on the cement.

Still in a sassy mood

Perked up!

Pumpkin Patch

For some reason every year I can't wait to go to the pumpkin patch, I think because I like the picture opportunities! The pictures from Sawyer's first trip to the pumpkin patch are quite possibly my favorite pictures, he was so chunky and hilarious. This year was great too, he got excited about the pumpkins, he knows what they are, and he was so happy to run around and play!

A big tractor drove up and it scared him, how cute is he?

He didn't want to leave and took off back to the field

 Here he is in 2010

and in 2011
