A trip to the farm, 22 weeks, and it's about time!

Saturday we decided we wanted to get out of the house so we went to Bauman Farms to get some fresh fruits and veggies, plants, and let Sawyer check out the animals and play on the playground. We hadn't been since last summer so we figured it would be a fun afternoon, and it was! Sawyer got a haircut a few weeks ago :( (It's a tough subject for me since I loved his long hair) so now I have to spray sunscreen on his head-he gets a kick out of that.

I loved his little peek-a-boo game with this goat

Also I was 22 weeks along this day! This baby is growing and so am I!

and lastly after much resistance the past few months, it's about time! Potty training! Thanks to Grandma!

Fishermen

A couple weeks ago Mike went fishing with his dad and caught a salmon. We had it for dinner that night and it was really good, we still have quite a bit left! Sawyer was pretty interested in the fish, but then lost interest and walked over to where I was sitting to blow some bubbles.

The weekend after that Mike wanted to try getting another fish so he and Sawyer took off Saturday morning. Unfortunately no fish was caught, but they had such a blast. These two are such good buds and I think it was a perfect day for them. Sawyer loved it. They came home and the first thing Sawyer said to me was "MOMMY! I fell down in the water!" Poor guy, he was ok though and was wearing his life jacket. No harm done ;)

Spoiled guy also got a new pool with a slide, he loves it :)

WHAT?! It's a GIRL?

I totally was thinking I was having a boy. I have my silly reasons for thinking it, but every once in awhile I would also get a hunch "well, maybe it is a girl" but then I would go back to the boy thoughts. I was happy either way, just excited to be pregnant and anxious to know the gender.

Yesterday Mike and I dropped Sawyer off at daycare and went to my big ultrasound. It was so fun to see the baby and wow is she a mover! It was quite awhile before we got around to checking the gender, and she sure made the ultrasound tech work for it! After some looking and all of us noticing the absence of a certain something, we were given the news that this baby is a she! I think my mouth was hanging open for a good 10 minutes, and Mike said immediately "there goes all our money!"

We were shocked, but also excited! Sawyer was right! He has been telling me it was a baby girl/baby sister whenever I asked. He is going to a such a cool big brother, I am looking forward to taking pictures of him with his sister :)

After our appointment, we went to lunch and a movie (Olive Garden and Hangover Part 3) and before the movie we had some time to kill. Right after we found out Sawyer was a boy we went to Macy's and bought our first item of baby clothing. So we continued our little tradition and did the same for this little one!

October can't come soon enough!
